“Young people are our future”

Children

Childhood experiences play an enormous role in shaping the way we see the world and the adults that we become. In an ideal world, childhood is a golden time of innocence, a safe place to explore all the wonders before you. In reality however, many children experience stress, trauma, and abuse or have a difficult time adapting to the wider world. When children experience psychological stress, research shows that the earlier treatment occurs, the better the chance for recovery and growth for their long term future.
